When talking to prospective clients about our WhatsApp tools, we often start off by explaining the shift in consumer preference and towards instant messaging.
When we are talking to prospective clients about our WhatsApp tools, we often set the stage by explaining the shift in consumer preference away from things like calls and emails, and towards instant messaging in general, and WhatsApp in particular. We often use words like efficient, feature-rich, convenient, immediate, non-intrusive to explain the drivers of this shift. The best catch-all though is that WhatsApp is easier. It has become so engrained in many of our day-to-day lives that it feels like the most efficient place to get stuff done. Take my use of Soy LuzIA, a WhatsApp API account connected to Chat GPT. Since Martin Sacchi introduced me to LuzIA a couple of weeks ago, I have been using it almost everyday. I was using ChatGPT before starting with LuzIA but my use has increased substantially now that I can interact with it on WhatsApp. (There are some details in the comments on how to use LuzIA.)
Why?
Because it just feels easier. It's also more versatile. No doubt, there are or will be soon be a tool similar to LuzIA that can process images, videos and other media. Hard to see how that will ever be possible using voice tools for instance. Its at this point that I would use the 'feature-rich' description in my client pitch.
